An App That Lets You Schedule Your Texts

Do you fail to acknowledge something important like a friend’s birthday, your parents’ anniversary, some long awaited occasion or any other date that should not be missed. You get irritated when that happens, right? Forgetting important events or texts can lead to confusions and can sometimes hurt feelings.

SMS or messaging apps like iMessage, WhatsApp, Messenger, Twitter etc does not allow to send out a message on a later date or time. You may be scheduling your emails but did you ever think of scheduling a text message? Maybe not!

Brthrs Agency, an Amsterdam based digital agency in The Netherlands designed a new app called Schedule for those who are forgetful. Currently it is a bootstrapped project

The good thing is, apart from SMS and iMessage, it supports trending apps like Telegram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Twitter. It also useful for reminding emails and phone calls.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The app is modest and very easy to use but it doesn't actually send texts automatically. You need to select the person from your Contacts to whom you want to text after that write your message in the space given . Then you have to set a reminder by choosing the date and time to send the text.

Once the selected date and time come around, you will get a push notification. Click on the notification to send the text.

Once you send the message, it will be deleted from the scheduled queue.

So, it will never let you forget to send messages to the right people at the right time. This app does not cost a penny. Go ahead and get it installed on your device from the app store.
