User Interface Testing(UI testing)

As its name suggests it is the testing process in which testing is to be performed on the interface through which user interacts with the system.

It is the testing process to how your website, application interact with the user.It basically

tests the application by considering three points:

1.Usability.

2.Errors.

3.Look and feel.

The UI is the backbone or first impression of the application.Before going the functionality the user first sees the UI so it is very important the UI should be attractive if your UI is attractive then people are willing to use it.

1.Usability: In this, the tester makes sure that all the functionality of the application should be easy to understand and use.The user should be able to navigate between the modules.Other than the functionality the user really want the application should not be complex it should be easy to use.

2.Error: While error checking test the application with the different scenario defined according to the project requirements.

3.Look and feel: In this testing is to be done on how the application looks.It tests the application by considering the following point:

1.Are all the fields are visible

2.It should not be complex.

3.It tests the color combination of the UI according to the requirements.

Importance of UI testing:

Although the developers take too much time in developing the application by using different tactics and critical thinking but ultimately the client or user is the person who is actually going to pass or use the application.

It is very important to test the UI in all aspects so that the user will not get any trouble in using the application.The application should be easy to use.If the UI is tested properly it makes the usability of application easier.
