Gorilla testing is a kind of software of testing which is often confused with “Monkey Testing” or even “Random Testing” for that matters. Under this post I would like to clear the air about it.
Gorilla Testing consists of a joint effort of the developer and the tester in which both of them test one particular module heavily which means testing of the functionality completely.
This particular kind of testing brings out the defects incase wrong input is given. The software is not suppose to to misbehave in case wrong inputs are given. If it does not work, user might lose his interest.Gorilla testing helps in testing defensive programming, through which the software is made tolerable for wrong inputs.
This sort of testing is very repetitive and also boring.
It is used to check functionality of a particular module heavily.
Conclusion :- This sort of testing is a challenging task every tester can’t perform this.
