Machine Learning and AI are evolving. Among others, the development of Virtual Agents is growing as significant utilities of these technologies. ML and AI are providing feasible grounds to human look-alike virtual personalities, growing as niche 3D facial animation and face modeling technology. With complicated interconnections, the face is the most complex part of a human body. Not because of the human body features but also to the complexity of becoming proficient in human intercommunications. It’s essential for virtual agents to have knowledge of human expressions like speaking skills, looks, and their motions according to the circumstances of the speaker.
Since human beings are trained from their childhood to understand gestures, we tend to follow human behavior as an ingrained evolutionary nature. Currently, Virtual Agents look like animated characters. With time when we work on these differences, we will be able to create virtual agents appear more like humans. By applying more algorithms based on Machine Learning, we will be able to create more advanced Virtual Agents. These agents will not only look like humans, but they behave like humans.
The Resemblance with Human can Concealed Imperfections
Most of the experts say that more we make virtual agents look like us more we can make their flaws minimal. This forms a pleasant impression in front of people, most commonly those who are taking its services the very first time. Because of this, people will go for this experience, again and again. The biggest difficulty in front of face modeling is to make them go beyond their limits and present a phenomenal experience to the users.

Perfection will come with time
Movies have played a major role in the creation of virtual agents and robots. Because they made us think that human life can be easier using virtual agents and robots. But we have to understand the experience of virtual agents or robots which movies are presenting is not the real. We have to understand the difference between reel life and real life. To achieve the cinematic depiction of AI in real life, technology will have to evolve more and it is a time taking process. Face Modelling is a strong stride towards this objective.
In short, We have to work on our real-time applications so that they can respond instantly as per users words and actions. For this, our virtual agent must read and analyze the facial expression precisely. But as we said, perfection will take some time.
