How To Reset Your Apple ID In Few Simple Steps

So instead of creating a new account, it is always recommended to reset your existing Apple account so you never have to lose anything.

Resetting Your Account
Before doing this, you must try all the possible ID-password combinations that you think may work. But if you still can’t log in, it’s time you should reset your account as it’s the only option left. In order to do that, follow these simple steps.

Launch the iTunes app on your computer or Mac.

On the top right of the window, click on sign in.

From the drop down menu that appears, click on Account Info.

When you click on Account Info, a pop-up menu will appear where you have to fill your iTunes ID and password.

Just above the password field, you will see a ‘Forgot?’ option with an embedded link. Click on that.

When you click on Forget, it prompts the browser to launch Apple’s website and take you to the password reset page.

Enter your iTunes username or the mail id with which you are registered and click on next.

Post that, you can either choose the email verification process or you can answer the security question if your remember.

When you choose the email verification, a link will be sent to your registered mail id. Clicking on that link, you can reset your iTunes account by setting up a new password.
When You Don’t Remember The iTunes Username
Well, it doesn’t happen all the time but it’s the natural tendency of the humans to forget things. So clearly, sometimes people also don’t remember their iTunes username.
