How To Activate or Complete the Running Sprints In JIRA

Active Sprints:-
When a sprint is updated by the test engineer on backlog tab according to the WBS of 2 weeks, click on start sprint button for activating the sprints. All the story, task, and sub-task should send in To-Do as per the updated workflow.
If there are multiple sprints present in backlog, test engineer be able to act only one sprint at a time. For activation of other sprints wait for the completion of the previous sprint.
Steps of Active Sprints:-
1. Click on Backlog tab, select any one sprint.
2. Click on start sprint button, enter the start and end date along with a description
3. Click on start sprint button.
4. Select the start or end dates according to WBS, along with the goal description
5. Now click on active sprints tab in the left bar.
6. All the sprints are displayed in To-Do column.
7. According to drag and drop functionality, the developer is able to drag or drop the task as In Progress or Done.
Complete Sprints:-
In a sprint, if any of the issues get missed to resolved by the developer than it will get:-
* Move back to the Backlog.
* Create newsprint and then move that previous issues in the new sprint.
Steps for Complete the Sprints:-
1. When all the tasks are dragged into the done column.
2. Click on complete sprint button, the running sprint will get stopped also the 3 column (To-Do, In Progress, Done) get empty, hence the sprint gets to move out from the active sprint.
3. Now the test engineer will continue to active other sprints.
Note:-
* Once the test engineer Active or Complete the sprint, then TE is not able to stop or re-start the sprint during the completion of the sprint. Only the administrator of jira is able to stop and re-start the sprint.
